Add Sound to Web Site

Web Sound Maker makes sound for your web site and plays instantly. It's a very easy to use software. Web Sound Maker records sound and converts into Adobe Flash file (namely SWF). The software also allows you to convert sound files into SWF format.


Add Sound to Your Web Site

  1. Prepare Original Sound

  2. You may convert a sound file into SWF (Adobe Flash Movie) format, and then add it to your web site. The software accepts AAC, AIFF, AIF, AIFC, AFC, AU, CDA, ADX, AC3, FLAC, FLA, MO3, MOD, XM, IT, S3M, MTM, UMX, APE, MAC, MP3, MP2, MP1, M4A, M4B, MP4, MPC, MP+, MPP, SND, OGG, OGA, SPX, TTA, WAV, WAVE, WV, WMA, WMV, and ASF files.

    Or, you may follow instructions below to record sound and then add it onto your web site.

    Click "Record"
    Click "Record"

    And then, choose recording quality and click "Record" to start recording. Click "Stop Rec" to stop recording.

    Click "Play" to listen to sound you record. When recording completes, click "Convert to SWF"

    Skip step 2.

  3. Choose Sound Files


  4. Click "Add MP3/WAV"
    Click "Add Files" to choose sound files and add them to conversion list.

    Choose one or more MP3/WAV file(s)
    Choose one or more sound file(s) that you want to convert into SWF format.

  5. Convert to SWF


  6. Click "Convert All"
    Click "Convert All" button to convert sound files in list into SWF format.

  7. Play and Preview Sound SWF


  8. Click "Play SWF"
    Right-click converted item and choose "Play SWF".

  9. Browse Generated Files


  10. Click "Browse SWF Folder"
    Right-click converted item and choose "Browse SWF Folder".

    You will see two files generated.
    • SWF File: This is the target SWF file.
    • HTML File: You can double-click the file to play SWF file in your web browser. If you do not want to generate the file, please go to "Options" -> "SWF Options" and check off option "Create HTML file".

  11. Edit HTML Code of Your Web Page File


  12. Open web page file that you want to add web sound (outputted sound SWF file) on using your favorite web page editor, and then add the SWF, or insert HTML code directly.

    You may refer to HTML code in outputted HTML file.
    Click "View HTML Code"
    Right-click converted item and choose "View HTML Code".

    Copy and paste the selected text in Notepad above to your web page file.

  13. Upload SWF and Web Page File to Your Web Site

  14. You can use a FTP tool to upload the files. We recommend you upload SWF files to directory same as your web page file. Or else, you have to note path of SWF at parameter "movie" in HTML code.

  15. Browse Your Web Page and You will See the Flash and Hear Sound
